In commemoration of the big 4-0, here is a place for all of us to ruminate, iterate, initiate....our thoughts and memories about Michael. But don't hesitate, time is short.

Back to the Future Submission

Since nobody else seems to be playing on this fine Easter Sunday. I will add another photo. You will all notice that thus far these aren't too funny. I'm sure those of you out there who are more clever (and meaner) than me will have lots of fun with this. You'll also notice that John has been noticeably silent over the past few days. Since he's on vacation, he's much too busy for this kind of nonsense... don't worry- he'll be back at work next week and more than happy to spend your government dollars blogging!

Back to the Future

We've examined and laughed at Michael past and present... now let's look to the future. Who do you think Michael will look like in 25 years?

Post your best guess as a photo (you'll have to add it as a new post)...

Here's mine!

Doppelgänger Challenge

According to Wikipedia: In the vernacular, the word "doppelgänger" has come to refer (as in German) to any double or look-alike of a person.

Your CHALLENGE, should you choose to accept it: FIND Michael Trum's doppelgänger.

It does not have to be an exact match. A close facsimile will do.

Physical appearance is a plus. However, people with similar personality traits/quirks/flaws may also be accepted for consideration.
If the challenge is too difficult , try thinking of it another way. Try and find the elusive, legendary, mythical long lost Trum child who was separated at birth from the rest of the family sometime during the 60's in the swamps of Jersey.

The person in question will probably have big brown hair, matching brown eyes, icterus, have an uncanny attraction to older men, be prone to flatulence and have a strong affinity for body art.

Here is my first submission:

Yep. That's right. Danielsan. The Karate Kid. Ralph Macchio.
Happy hunting.

1 month left @ 39.
Mike will soon qualify for ObamaCare.

Based upon recent "activities" known to have occurred on Concord Street, what do each of the following have in common with Michael?

HINT: Complete the following sentence. "They're all ___________!"
My apologies to Allen if he should actually be given credit. However, no credit is to be given to Steve and/or Kristi Davis.

What's In a Name?

Didn't I already use this title for a previous post? I think you will find it is worth repeating. We have already mentioned that Michael was the most popular boy's name for more than 30 years! Let's now take a look at what else besides a name our Michael has in common with other Michaels of his generation.

Michael Douglas- both are terrified of Glenn Close

Mike 'n Ike- both sweet as can be!

George Michael- both are snappy dressers

Michelangelo- both left-handed

Michael Keaton- both look terrific in a cape

Michael Vick- neither are very good with dogs

Michael Jackson- both are bla... um... both are fantastic dancers

Mike Tyson- let's just assume these two Michaels have nothing in common

Michael Phelps- both are capable swimmers

Michael Jordan- they're both black

Michael Buble- both are feelin' good!

Mike Myers- groovy!

Michael Andretti- both like fast cars

Michael J. Fox- both have strong Family Ties

Feel free to add some of your own comparisons in the comments section!

A house once sold on East Concord,
amid a great bit of discord.
Mike he did pay.
The swing did not stay.
40 swings he now can afford.
